The Office of Institutional Research & Planning is announcing the administration of the 2009 National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) The NSSE survey opened January 2009 with a pre-survey announcement to students and faculty by Blackboard. Incentives will be offered to students to participate in the survey.

We thank and appreciate those students who have already taken the time to fill out the on-line survey. And we encourage those who have not completed the survey, to consider giving UVI your feedback. Your name will be entered in a drawing and 10 winners will receive a $25 voucher, redeemable at either UVI bookstore. The drawing will take place the first week of May. However, you must complete the on-line survey in order to be eligible. So, check your email and do not miss your opportunity to WIN.

This survey is just for freshmen and seniors. You should have received on February 2, a customized email invitation from the Provost. Email invitations will continue on a bi-weekly schedule inviting you to participate. The last invitation sent will be on March 23, 2009. We are hoping for a favorable response because the results from this report will help to improve undergraduate education programs at the University of the Virgin Islands.
